Wallpaper Engine

Wallpaper Engine causes Netflix (Silverlight) system hangs.
AMD FX 8150 (3.6ghz x8 core)
Ati RX 470 4gb
24gb DDR3 Corsair Ram 1600mhz ram.
Samsung EVO 850 250gb SSD
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1
Tested in both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Whilst wallpaper engine is running (looped video on desktop, but paused because of the web browser being fullscreen) and i have done extensive testing with different graphics drivers and with misc features disabled, i have concluded that Wallpaper Engine is having a serious negative effect on the application 'Microsoft Silverlight' whilst trying to play videos on netflix, to constantly freeze up and hang repeatedly until the system locks up, as the Mouse cursor is unable to move during these hangs.

As this problem can literally hang the entire system forcing you to restart via turning off power, i would consider this as a high-priority bug.

Upon closing Wallpaper Engine, accessing videos on Netflix returns to normal operations.
With Wallpaper Engine loaded, accessing videos on Netflix causing repeated system lockups, with a full system hang after about 30 seconds.

They both use Windows' own video modules and some drivers or cards don't like that. You can try disabling video hardware acceleration in either Wallpaper Engine or Silverlight/your browser so that your system doesn't have two instances.

Or try the LAV decoders instead of the ones from Microsoft: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1484358860951576217/
