Are you sure the wallpaper you are using produces sound? Most wallpapers don't have sound. Other than that, Wallpaper Engine will just play its audio on your main sound device. Make sure Wallpaper Engine is not muted in the Windows audio mixer and that audio output has not been disabled in the Wallpaper Engine settings (double-check in the "General" tab of the settings).

Please follow the instructions I posted above. Wallpaper Engine plays sound like any other application. Either Wallpaper Engine is muted / set very quiet in the Windows audio mixer, you turned off audio output or you set the volume for the wallpaper very low.

Go to the Wallpaper Engine settings. Go to the "General" tab in the Wallpaper Engine settings. Scroll down. Click on the red "RESET" button and restart Wallpaper Engine.

If that does not work: Check your Windows audio settings. Make sure Wallpaper Engine has the volume up. If that does not work, try other wallpapers with sound, maybe the sound was removed from your wallpaper.

There is nothing special about Wallpaper Engine's audio output. Which wallpaper are you testing exactly?
