how does iCue integration work?
Hi! I'm trying to sync my icue to the wallpaper, however, on the guide it says to go to the "plugin" section of the Wallpaper settings I do not know where to go, as there is no such thing in my WE. I'm using the standard Corsair Collection background, I don't know wether this is the issue.

Hey, the "Plugin" section is in the Wallpaper Engine settings. You can reach that via the cogwheel icon. It should be enabled by default. Make sure that the "iCUE" setting is enabled when you select a wallpaper in the "Installed" tab. If it does not work, what hardware are you using? Also make sure that iCUE is up-to-date.

In that case, I think something may be preventing Wallpaper Engine from running normally (unless this screenshot is showing a wildly outdated version, make sure the version number in the "About" tab is 1.1.174 or higher, if not, update the application via Steam). If you have any antivirus tools installed, try and see if they might be configured to block things overzealously and set up an exception for ui32.exe and the other executables in the wallpaper_engine directory.

If you don't think this is caused by an antivirus tool, please run our scan tool and post the log file as described here:

However, please do check your antivirus first, it's likely the cause of this issue.

I don't have any antivirus other than Windows Defender. this is the pastebin. https://pastebin.com/murSgsvB Other than me missing the capability to read it it immidiately says that wallpaper64.exe is missing.

In that case "something" is really odd on your system and Wallpaper Engine fails to load the plugin for "some" reason but I don't see anything in the log at first glance, it may be that something in the core of your Windows is broken.

You can try switching to the 64 Bit version of Wallpaper Engine and see if that may solve the problem for you. Turn off Wallpaper Engine completely (right-click on the tray icon -> "Quit", very important to do this first!) and then right-click on Wallpaper Engine in Steam and select the second launch option to start the 64 Bit version.

If that fixes it for you, don't forget to turn off autostart and then turn it back on to register the 64 Bit version as autostarting.

If using the 64 Bit version does not work, let me know and I'll think of some more advanced ways to solve this, though switching to 64 Bit libraries might do the trick.

Also, try to install the Visual C++ Redistributables again, this is also likely to fix the issue for you:

yes! launching it as 64bit worked. When turning on start with windows again it was still talking about ui32.exe, though. (Not an issue with wallpaper engine, but stupid non pro vengeance RGB not syncing)
