Wallpaper Engine 3rd Party addons

Hello, I have 2 main wallpapers I use a audio one and a basic one i made that just shows a mp4. I have a server running a program called openhab that can ping devices and applications like Spotify and run actions depending on the states like turn a light on or send a packet to my PC where i can write a program to do actions on the PC.

I want to be able to be able to change what wallpapers is in action by a .bat file. I tried replacing the .config file but wallpaper engine wasn't updated.

Anyone got any ideas/solutions

Behavior like that is not supported. The best "hack" you could implement would be to send fake hotkey combinations and set up hotkeys for individual wallpapers / playlists in Wallpaper Engine. I do not have any recommendations on how to achieve this directly, but I assume this would be somehow possible with some technical knowledge.

Yeah I think the hotkey method might be the way forward ill just have to be careful what the hotkey is because it might mess any other applications up. Can Unicode/symbols be used as a hotkey?
Edit: never mind its a actual button press but I could try sending a key not on the keyboard

Yeah, the application is basically using the standard Windows way of handling key combination presses, so anything that works on Windows will work on Wallpaper Engine.
