Wallpaper not showing on one screen in multi-monitor setup
This Wallpaper Engine problem showed up a few months ago. Before, it worked perfectly.

I have a tri-monitor (2-3-1) setup- Dell 23" 2312H, Asus VG278H, Dell 2312H in that order. Monitor 2 is my main monitor.

Wallpaper Engine correctly displays my chosen wallpapers on monitors 2 and 3, but nothing on 1 when the system starts up or i log out then in again. If I bring up the Wallpaper Engine context menu from the systray and choose "Change Wallpaper" and then load profile, all three wallpapers load properly. Any solutions? Thanks.

That problem is caused by the graphics driver, it doesn't get properly ready before it lets programs like Wallpaper Engine run.

The beta has a potential workaround for this, please try it and see if the issue still happens the same way: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/350544272219415004/ and make sure to not use the 'high-priority' auto start option for the time being until the driver works better again.

If that doesn't help, try changing the option 'monitor identification' to 'deprecated'. Note that this resets the wallpapers and you have to set everything up again.

Thanks for the quick response. The "deprecated" setting was what worked.

Following up on this discussion: As reported earlier, the "deprecated" setting solved my original problem. Since then my screensaver (MarineAquarium by Serenescreen) has not been kicking in at the set time (30 minutes) if Wallpaper Engine is running. When I exit WPE the screensaver works correctly. I didn't have this problem before. I am wondering if there is something with WPE and screensaver such that the screensaver is detecting WPE animation as activity and not running.

Full disclosure: I did update to the latest version of the screensaver. Thanks.

It's related to some default Windows behavior and It depends on your wallpaper(s), see our FAQ on that here:
