Which wallpaper is it, do you have a link?
Deleted the file, I don't have the error anymore
Do you think the fullscreen wallpaper/windows 10 freezing can be caused by a corrupted wallpaper ?
(Also, I said that I couldn't open the windows menu, it's true for the windows key, but the windows button on my second screen also did nothing)
Wallpaper Engine was also set to use OpenGL (the graphics API option), I generally wouldn't recommend it because Microsoft, Nvidia and AMD put higher priority on Directx 10/11, so that will work best. If you still have the other issues you could try this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1473095331509794520/ and then maybe that gives a clue why they happen/happened.
So, I deleted the config.json and the graphics API was DirectX11. When loading the same wallpaper I still have the same error.
I followed the debug steps, and here's the file: https://pastebin.com/GMACzTdn
Could you manually delete its files (right click in Wallpaper Engine - open in explorer - delete the 3 or 4 files there) and then verify all files in Steam? This should force it to download a new copy of the wallpaper files.
Thanks for the help, it's weird changing the graphics api cause these problems though

You have a pirated, illegal version of the software.
