Wallpaper Shaking bug after nvidia update
I'm experiencing a weird shaking bug for most animated wallpapers.
(here is how it looks like https://gyazo.com/4b0aa5c0f370005c902568f35a09bc1f )
This started to happen after updating to the latest nvidia drivers for my gtx 970, anyone know how to fix it without downgrading my drivers?

Try disabling any extra driver features like geforce experience's recording/overlay, I haven't seen this before though.

ok, so I tried doing what you said with no result.
I then rolled back to my previous drivers (v. 382.53) and the bug was gone, and for good measure tried to update again to the latest drivers (v. 388.13) and the bug was back.
I should also note that when updating to the latest drivers, wallpaper engine crashed without any bug message.
So it looks like it has something to do with the driver (v. 388.13). But I could be completely wrong :D

Does it only happen to scene type wallpapers or also videos? Have you perhaps changed the graphics API setting? The default (dx10/11) should be the most stable and probably most well supported by drivers.

You could try this http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1473095331509794520/ which should help figuring out if there is something else hooked into the graphics.

Update!
I tried playing around with some of the settings in wallpaper engine and removing anti-aliasing removed the problem.
the shaking is most noticable with MSAA x2.

And switching to dx9 from dx 11 also removed the problem, even when adding anti-aliasing.

I guess it could be related to a driver option like FXAA or something that is disabled when using the Dx9 API? The Dx9 renderer is inferior though, so generally I wouldn't recommend using it, but it's pretty much just there to work around inexplicable things like this.
