WE shows only a white/blank window

Yo hi everyone!
Since yesterday WE stopped working for me ´cause of unknown reasons. I didnt change any software or hardware.
If i open WE or WE-Settings its just a white/blank window or in the case of the settings a screwed up UI without functions.

Verifying the cache, complete reinstall and reinstall in another place didnt help.
Media Foundation shouldnt be a problem either.
Everything from Flash to Graphiccard-Driver is up2date.
Running on Windows 7-64bit. (64bit exe doesnt solve the problem)

I hope someone can help me, the problem drives me insane just ´cause there is no reason behind it...

Go to the wallpaper install path and run vcredist(both) it's in the _CommonRedist folder.

Do you have an anti-virus installed?

Can you try to close the app, delete/move the config.json file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\ and restart it? This will reset all your settings.

Due to how severly it is broken, I think some application files are messed up though.

I disabled my anti-virus to see if thats the reason, but it wasnt.

Deleting the config.json was one of the first things i did, nothing changed.
After deleting it, the first window popping up looks also scewed up.

I played a bit around with the WE-Window and now i get this, the moment i maximize the window (pulling the window to the top of the screen)

All of the white area is the window, not the background.
It shows the UI in a part of the whole window but nothing is "clickable".

Can you upload these three log files to www.pastebin.com ?

Since it was working fine before and now suddenly isn't, something must have changed, do you have any idea if some Windows/driver updates were installed? Or updates for other applications?

Also, you could try to cleanly reinstall the application, you would need to manually delete the entire directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\ after "uninstalling" in Steam, because Steam won't do that.

Maybe there were windows updates, i will try to rollback. Anything else didnt change.

I just started WE in Vista SP2 - Compatibility mode and it works... defaq?

Maybe that will help you to help me now :P

And removing the compatibility mode again breaks it? This is especially weird because the UI windows are inside ui32.exe (and I presume you set wallpaper32.exe to compatibility?).

Yep thats exactly the case. It doesnt matter if i put wallpaper32.exe or wallpaper64.exe(which i choose normaly) to compatibility. The moment i run it without it, it breaks again.
