Bright Pixel
Whenever it starts I have a bright pixel showing in the upper left corner of my screen. I tested my screen without it running and it's fine, it only happens when its running.

Do you have a screenshot? It's most likely coming from another application injecting an OSD or something similar though. Does it happen on all wallpapers?

I took a screenshot but it's really hard to see it unless you zoom in. The bright pixel is in the upper left corner as far as it can be. It only shows when wallpaper engine starts and then it's visible with all wallpapers. It doesn't go away if I just shut down wallpaper engine, I have to restart the computer for the bright pixel to go away. It's very minor but its there. I thought I had a stuck pixel, but then figured out it only showed when wallpaper engine started up. I do use Afterburner and Rivatuner and followed the instructions about setting the detection level to none for both wallpaper engine executable files. I think this program is great even with the pixel showing.

I think if the bright pixel stays even when Wallpaper Engine is closed, it can't come from any OSD or Wallpaper Engine window (since they are closed). Did you double check in task manager that all of its executables are gone and the pixel is still visible?

If I dont't start wallpaper engine the pixel never shows no matter what games or applications I run. I tested that today. The minute wallpaper engine starts the bright pixel is there.

Yeah, what I mean is, that it is not directly drawn by the application or something, but some kind of driver or hardware problem.

Well it's definitely causing it in some way. It might be conflicting with drivers or some hardware on my system, but it's definitely caused by the program starting up. If I never start the program I don't get that bright pixel in the corner with anything such as games, full screen movies, regular wallpaper, screen savers, etc.

I stand corrected after some more testing. It's not wallpaper engine causing it, it just brightens it so it's more visible. It doesn't show in classic windows, only windows themes. It also doesn't show in 3D mode only 2D mode and only the main windows desktop screen. If I cover it with any open window I can't see it.
