Having a huge lag when changing to the next wallpaper in a playlist.

I want to have a playlist of different Moving Wallpapers from my favourite Games / Movies / Series ... for my second screen but every time it changes the Wallpaper I get a huge lag in all of my applications. I wonder if there is a way to get better perfomance?
Also I have the feeling a few wallpapers need to much ressources so it slows my pc down.

Here's my setup:
Intel i5-2400 4x 3.1 Ghz
AMD Radeon HD7870
2x4GB RAM
2xBenq 24" 1xHDMI / 1xDVI

If your computer's power-settings are set to stop your hard-drives after so many minutes of inactivity, then that could be the cause if the computer is spinning-up the hard-drives to read and load in the next wallpaper. You could try adjusting your Power-saving settings via Windows.

If that's not it, then perhaps try experimenting with some of the Wallpaper Engine settings; for example, on the General tab and Advanced section change Video-loading to "In-Memory" and see if that helps. You could also try changing some other settings and see if some other settings helps improve things.
