Image flicker on end of loop (solved)
Solved - Was windows themes rotating previous wall papers (slide show) so it would take over for a second.
---
I did a quick look but didn't specificly see an answer to this so i wanted to float it to you guys.

The entire program works great on my computer and i have the hardware to support it without issue but i notice that, at what i assume is the end of the loop for the wallpaper, the screen flickers black/or possibly show the old wallpaper before starting over again.

I'm just using the current wallpapers in the orignal pack like the "Shimmering Particles".

Its hard for me to capture since its quick and i have no idea when the loop ends and begins. I do have it stretched between two monitors if that makes a difference but again while its playing its perfect...just that lil flicker at the end. Keeps making me think something happened.

Any idea on that? Thanks all!

Video: GTX 970

(Edit: wanted to note i even saw it clicker while it was paused...i think its cursed!!)

Are you using Windows 7? Could you try to test the other options for "video looping" in the general/advanced settings?

Ahem ok going to edit this real quick as i think i figured it out. I forgot to turn off the image rotation for my original wallpapers so every time it would do so it would flicker because it would load the image then the wallpaper engine would take back over. (I just noticed it was doing it because i finnaly saw it)

So i appologize as this seems to be a simple windows setting i didn't think to turn off so it wouldn't mess with things. Worth a note if it isnt mentioned anywhere for use with windows theme settings but this one is on me! All is well! Thanks for the response and also great great great wallpaper program!

Where did you go to disable rotation lock, I don't seem able to find it?

Are you using a PC? If on PC:
-Right-click desktop
-Click "Personalize"
-On the "Background" tab, there should be a drop down that lets you choose Picture, Solid Color, or Slideshow. If you're experiencing the flicker issue, it's likely on Slideshow, so change it to one of the other ones.
