Background Player Help

So when i use a video wallpaper, the ones that are opened with Windows Media Player lag like crazy (mp4) and when i play the video in the folder too, but when i open the videos with Media Player Classic (or being webm) they run smoothly.
But i can't find a way to change the player the software uses so i can't fix that, is there any way to do it? Help :(

TL;DR : The wallpapers behave like Windows Media Player, but i want them to behave like Media Player Classic.

It can't really be changed I'm afraid.

Do you know why they lag? Can you tell me which graphics card you are using? As long as it supports hardware acceleration it should be fine.

Since you mentioned MPC, have you previously installed a codec pack that possibly disabled some features?

NVIDIA GeForce GT 640

I don't really know, i tried to look up the problem because it seems like it's something from my pc, because sometimes even the youtube videos lag the same with all the twitching.

And i haven't touched anything about that, well some time ago there was a blackout and some thing got back to the default config somehow (and the problem started abot that time) maybe it's something about it.

I guess i'll just wait for it to become better again somehow, thanks anyway!
