The verification of the following files failed. Please verify the files over steam (right click, properties, local files, verify) tried this million times. but it does not solve the issue.
Now, my wallpaper engine is working but it still has error message prior to run the software.
"The verification of the following files failed. Please verify the files over steam...."
Ive done this many times. First verification got 2 files unverified, then once I do it again, it says that all files are verified. But still this issue appears. :(
Appreciate your support. Thanks buddy.
Does the software still show any errors or warnings itself though?
Thank you sir for always helping me out. I do really appreaciate it..
I am always verifying manually (right click, properties, local files, verify) as what instructed me to do.. 1st, i always have 2 files reacquired. then 2nd time I verify, all files are verified..
afte this error, status will say "Starting program with errors."
Then, when I go will change my wallpaper, this error appears.
Wallpaper engine needs to be updated
Please close Wallpaper Engine (right click....). If you keep getting this warning, please verify the application over steam (which leads me to manually verify and 2 files are not verified).
Application version : 100000675, UI Version: 10000070.
First close the program completely, so that there is no more wallpaper32.exe or ui32.exe etc in the task manager just to make sure. Then run it again over Steam but don't verify it. Does that still show any errors then?
for those who has the same issue as mine, you can follow the guide by Biohazard. This is working as diamond. :)
Now, my software has been updated succesfully, thanks to you sir.
