Wallpaper Engine for Smart/Android TVs

After downloading Wallpaper Engine App for my phone, I can not stop thinking how cool would be to have app for Smart/Android TV screensavers.

I would like to know do developers even think about making it to TVs. And if not, I would recommend it 101%. Then I would be able to have same animated screensaver for all my devices (which is very cool, I know you would agree).

Android-based TVs unfortunately do not support anything like live wallpapers, so this is beyond our control I am afraid!

I did not realize Android TV had a feature like that but it seems that it allows for custom screen saver apps. I noted it down and we can check it out, though we don't have an Android TV device around to test it, so I cannot make any quick promises for now, it also might not be that simple to get it to work properly but I really do not know for sure.

I think the problem is that almost all SmartTVs are using old-Customized-Android compilations, I mean old versions of Android with custom UI and settings with a lot of features stripped-off. If you found a good SmartTv with just a clean Android Version 8 or higher im 90% sure you can install and use WE app.

That would be great for the Chromecast with Google TV! It does not necessarily have to be the lock screen / idle screen (which the Google tv has), an app in which you can activate only a full screen mode for a wallpaper / a playlist would be awesome :O
