I used wrong word for that + I edited my message after I found out that you made a fix/update to allow pausing on multiple monitors.
My question now is if you plan on adding a manual pause for each monitor.
Right click on an icon and pause monitor 1/2 separately.
My main monitor usually have browser/other apps open while second monitor is empty when I am not working.
I would like it to keep playing an animation while pausing my first monitor manually.
Hope that makes sense :D
Out of curiosity, what do you plan to use that feature for? From my experience, as long as you have something fullscreen up on your first monitor, it should pause the animations already.
In case I don't have something full screen on my first monitor.
Or preferably I would like to turn off this option and let the animation/music play on main monitor too, but with an option to pause it manually.
There is some kind of a bug/issue I have that pause both monitors when I open a floating window for a game, which should not pause my second monitor at all(but it does).
So I would prefer to not use settings for that, but rather do it manually.
And since we already have settings for it, I believe adding a manual option would not be a problem.
Is it because you have the focus option to 'pause' as it happened to someone else here?
Focused is set to keep running.
Maximized/Full Screen are set to pause per monitor(this is what I want to set manually.
@Edit:
I had set "Other application playing audio: Mute", forgot about it...
Anyway my other suggestion is still up, I would like to have a manual pause :]
Yeah I've seen it, I'll keep it in mind but right now I can't promise anything. The issue you are having shouldn't be happening with those settings though. Is it only with a specific game/specific games? If it doesn't even happen to normal windows, only games, I guess some 3D hook could be interfering or the game is taking exclusive control of audio or graphics hardware (then Wallpaper Engine can't run since it isn't allowed access).
I edited my previous post, but it was caused due to another setting: "Other application playing audio: Mute", which muted my wallpaper(since I am using video wallpaper with music).
So that issue is solved :D
Another reason why I would like to mute/pause a specific monitor manually is when I turn on my PC, both monitors(currently 2, soon mght be 3), are playing their own animation + music(so both of them overlap each other)
Are there any troubleshooting steps?
I have checked it is ticked to "keep running" on all instances except for
"Other application fullscreen"
and
"Other application maximized"
On those, I have "Pause per monitor". But it is not working.
Any help is appreciated.
