Resize instead of crop

Please. I hate having my image cropped down to monitor dimensions. Please make it so it actually resizes the image instead of cutting it down to size.

If you want to center the image, you can turn off the resize option in the editor and choose the "fill" or "center" alignment when using the wallpaper.

You can also open the editor settings from the "Edit" menu and permanently turn of the size suggestion when importing new images.

If this is not what you mean, can you please elaborate?

Thanks for the tip. My beef is just that it crops rather than resizes. Take a look at imageresizer.com - that's what I was expecting when WE recommends resizing rather than a crop down to size.

The idea of cropping is just to remove excess space from the image to improve performance. Wallpaper Engine tries to guess the desired aspect ratio that you will end up with and cuts the rest off.

If you just want to keep the exact resolution and aspect ratio, you can turn it off, but really the only point of this function is to improve the wallpaper performance and remove image space that most users won't see with the default cover alignment at all.
