Q: Will Wallpaper Engine show up on Steam?
A: It will not show up as 'in-game' while simply running as a wallpaper in the background. However if you open certain windows, like the Browse Wallpapers window, it will show up until the window has been closed. This is necessary in order to be able to show you the Workshop wallpapers you have subscribed to.

However, I would also recommend to either try running the wallpaper32.exe or wallpaper64.exe directly from where Wallpaper Engine is installed or make a shortcut from one of those to run from the installation folder (as when running it directly through Steam reported by some Users it may still show a "in game" status sometimes even when it shouldn't, so running it directly from the executables, or a shortcut direct to an executable, may avoid that).
Oh, that worked, thank you very much!
