Rainmeter integration?

the source code is already out there on github , so i was thinking if it would be possible to have rainmeter skins be loaded into WE and work as an overlay?
or maybe not do that but have something similar?

I don't really use all the gagets and stuff that rain meter has but there are a few skins I would like to see on wall-engine. As far as intergration goes the only thing I could think of was making a gif out of a screen capture of the rainmeter skin I like but I need a video editor first.

just put the rain skin over it? if you try to publish a thing just put a rain link in and give credit to creater. done.

But since WE allows the user to create a playlist of wallpapers, is it possible for Rainmeter to automatically change its skin/ layout according to the current wallpaper shown on WE? If that is possible, is it then possible for Rainmeter to connect to WE and change the wallpaper on its own?

I was hoping for the plugin system in WE to become public so that we could build for it. Currently as it stands only the main devs can do it.
