Symmetry tool bug! (Aseprite(beta) - v1.2.3 - 64x)
Activate one of the symmetry tools (doesn't matter which one). Make sure you have the pen tool activated, then proceed to click anywhere on the canvas and make a dot. Then click and grab the handle of the symmetry tool. While still dragging the handle, move your mouse over the canvas and press "Shift" to initiate the "straight line" tool. This will bug the symmetry tool and the symmetry line will follow your cursor until Aseprite is restarted.

EDIT: The bug is still present as of (v.1.2.6 - 64x)

Yes it seems I've encountered a simlar issue to this. No idea how I achieved the same results but it can be worrysome for some people. I can't seem to reproduce the bug I had.

Using v1.2.6 -x64 build at the time

I will see if I can reproduce it the same way I did before, get back to this thread and see if the bug is still present.

EDIT: You were right. The bug is still present as of the version mentioned in the now edited initial post (made it clearer how to reproduce the bug). Thanks for commenting. =) Let's hope that the developer sees it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the dev will see it, I've faith. Must say it's a excellent program for beginners like myself to get started on. Sometimes it's annoying when you hold left click to draw a line and then accidentally right click as it gets rid of the line/pixel. Although it's very minor and I'll have to teach my fingers to be more careful lol. Apart from that though, I love Aseprite and the community behind it. =)

One can only hope =P and yes, the program is really good and user friendly. I know that the animation tools are it's biggest strength among other similar products. I have a hard time liking the interface, but that's my minor pet peeve. A strong and kind community can get games/software a long way. Especially if we are talking independent. =)
