auto-dithering fill tool.
can we have a tool that makes a dither pattern (different pattern levels ) using the colors you select instead of manually having to make the dither?

There's two solutions to this, one is a gradient tool that can be found if you press Shift + G (or select it in the section where the bucket fill tool is), when you select it, there'll be a dropdown menu at the top, switch it from "No Dithering" to one of the Bayer Matrix algorithms (2x2, 4x4, 8x8) and then you're ready to use it, keep in mind that it'll use both your primary and secondary colors (found in the bottom left corner), and that it'll fill the entire canvas unless you use it under a selection, so I personally recommend to use it in its own separate layer

The other solution, if you want something more precise, is making your own brush, simply draw a dither pattern, select it, and press Shift + B, which should make a brush with the selected area, then, while having that brush selected, use the bucket fill tool and use it with contiguous turned on or off (it depends on your desired result) in your desired area. After that, that area you just painted should be filled with the dither pattern
