Hue Slider Updating with Saturation and Value Issue

I needed to ask, is there any way to disable the fact that, in the HSV sliders, the hue slider itself goes dark and/or desaturates as I adjust the value and saturation sliders? It really disorients me when the hue slider becomes pretty much black and hard to make out anything as I get to darker shades of things.
