GUI.xml was not found

hey

I have set Aseprite as default to open png images. but when i try I get the message "GUI.xml was not found".

This is only doing this on my laptop, im pretty sure it just works on my main PC.

I have reinstalled the software and verified cache.

any ideas?

Hi arnzz, did you associate .png files manually? or automatically with Windows? To what file type .png files are associated (e.g. in regedit, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ase files are associated to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AsepriteFile)?

Ill have to check the registry when im back with the laptop.

but I set it to open with aseprite by, right clicking the file, going to properties, and selecting "open with", then finding the Aseprite.exe in my Steam folder.
