How many DPI ?
So, I want to do a pixelart illustration, made to be printed after on a postcard format.

But for that I need to know the DPI of the image i'm going to create to do the maths and have the right dimensions.

So, how can I see the "number of DPI" ? It's obviously not in the file creation, so I'm wondering if there is any way to know on the program.

Aseprite does not directly interface with printers, so DPI is an irrelevant metric to it. All you need to worry about on Aseprite's side is the resolution of the canvas and the scaling of your exported image. The DPI will be whatever your printer is capable of.

So if you want to print at 300 DPI on a 4" by 6" postcard, your exported image should have a resolution of 1200x1800px. Obviously your pixel art is not going to be that large at its original scale, so you might create a 120x180px piece and export it with 10x scaling.

So you need to decide what DPI you will print at, and what canvas size your pixel art piece will be. From there you can determine the export scaling needed.
