Hi all,

I made a script that makes a grid with margins, padding, cell borders and checkered background:

There's also an option to create space for a text label.

Neither the default grid nor the default background support padding. They have an offset, but that works only for margins on the sprite top-left edge, not the bottom-right. While you can easily copy & paste squares to create a grid, this script organizes each cell in a group hierarchy so you can use the auto-guides feature in Aseprite's move tool.
