Aseprite

Is there a way to create a color range between two selected colors?
I saw some other tool having this feature, and I see that we can customize the palette in Aseprite, but I was unable to do or find how to do this.

In the palette side bar, click and drag to select a range of color swatches. The first color should be the origin pole of the range. The last color should be the destination pole. The colors in-between should be ones you don't mind replacing.

Click on the button above the palette swatches with an icon of an arrow pointing down. A menu will appear. Select Gradient from the menu. The colors in-between the poles will update.

If you are using Aseprite v1.3 beta, there is a Gradient by hue option in the arrow menu.

This feature is not as good as it could be. You can see that for yourself if you make Gradient by hue from a gray to cyan or if you make a Gradient from green to red. If you're not satisfied with the colors generated by Aseprite, search online for a gradient or palette generator that uses a perceptual color space.

Other Aseprite palette management features are in the menu to the right of the down arrow menu, see the button with the three horizontal lines icon.
