If you press B to switch to the pencil tool, then look at the toolbar above the canvas, the dynamics menu icon is between the ink type and the pixel perfect check box. In this menu, stabilizer is the first option at the top. The stabilizer slider can be set to an integer between 0 and 64.
To switch to the beta version, right click on Aseprite in your Steam library. In the context menu, select Properties. Select betas in the left-hand column. Select "beta - v1.3 Beta version - Preview features" from the drop-down menu.
If this is what you've already tried, here are some alternatives:
- The pixel perfect option, as already mentioned.
- Snap to grid options under View > Grid.
- Customizing Action Modifiers in the Edit > Keyboard shortcuts menu for the Freehand Tool. By default, holding down Shift lets you draw straight lines with the pencil.
- The contour or polygon tool.
I don't use a tablet myself, so I don't know how viable everything I've listed will be.
