Anyway if you prefer to buy Aseprite from Steam, then you can ask me for a itch.io key from the Steam chat.
Can I ask for a humble bundle key? The truth here is that the Steam version is cheaper on my local currency than it is in USD.
Oh sorry, that's not possible because a Humble Bundle gift key would give you another Steam key. Something itch.io enables us to do (I can give keys without Steam keys on it)
In that case, if you want a Humble Bundle key, I recommend you to buy Aseprite from Humble Bundle.
I will definitely do it sometime. Thanks.
I am still just a enthusiast of indie development and can't see myself making a profit of it anytime soon. But you're right, indeed. It takes money to make money.
Hi Felipi, actually the Steam version is exactly the same as the portable one. Aseprite is DRM-free, so you don't need to start Steam to execute (you can create a direct shortcut to the executable file to avoid starting Steam when you run Aseprite).
I was giving "DRM-free"/portable keys through Steam chat, but now I'm trying to implement a website form to request those keys for Steam users (through a login button). Anyway I still waiting for a specific feature from Valve developers to do this.
So if I want a DRM free version I better wait then?
