Aseprite for Tablet
Is there a plan for Aseprite to come on Android? I would like to have fun on my Nvidia Shield Tablet.

Hi @Valtierre, there are plans for iOS and Android versions, but they are going to take some time/redesign (6 or 8 months so I can continue working on the desktop version too).

Regarding updates on platforms, would it be different? (i.e priority deployment)

Yes, as the development will be completely different (new UI/sprite editor/timeline/color bar/painting tools with touch gestures), the updates/available features will be different too.

I'd really like to see this for android. Have a note 7, so it is just fun to draw little stuff with the stylus, but I can't find a nice PIXEL art app with no ads that works really nice with the stylus.

I tried pixel art maker 8bit painter. It worked great, but the ads enraged me and I deleted it.

Can anyone recommend a good pixelart app for Android in the meantime?

I'm currently working with Pixel Studio since there is no official android version for Aseprite. It's available for free for Android and PC (Steam). With the PRO Version you can have cross platform synchronisation.

Are there maybe any thoughts of already publishing a beta? Aseprite is such a nice program and I really would like to use it on the go!

So we're here 8 years later, still plans or should we stop hoping?
