How to save image as gif, if it has layers?
Hello all.
How to save image as gif, if it has layers?
My first project is a basic character firing a gun.
I have managed to add a basic animation but would like to save it as a gif so I can share with community for tips and feedback.

Layers do not need to be kept separate when exporting to a GIF, as it's just for sharing the final result. The layers will be "flattened". You can safely save your animation as a GIF to share it. The warning it gives you is just to let you know that you won't be able to open that GIF in Aseprite with its original layer data. This is why you should always save your work in the .aseprite format first, to keep a file that you can edit.
