Can Photoshop be a substitute for Aseprite? I'm thinking about buying it, but I do not know if I would be paying for features I might already have.

if you are only doing pixel art then there is no need for photoshop, especially since it is a subscription, however if you are doing other types of art there is also NO NEED FOR PHOTOSHOP, buy paintstorm studio instead, its brush engine is better than photoshop and its a one off payment ,only about $20

Thanks, but I don't pay for Photoshop. My employer pays for my Adobe Collection. Imma checkout paintstorm studio though. Seems really interesting, ngl. So, thanks a lot.

Photoshop can do pixel art, but theres settings and things you have to change. It kind of wo5rks against pixel art so you need to force it. I'd really recommend saving yourself the trouble and just going with Asperite. If you want to do high res digital paintings then Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint etc are good for that
