Aseprite vs MS Paint | which one is better fo pixel art & animation

I have been talking to my friend about this and he doesn't belive me. So I am going to have to ask you guys to reply to this as a topic (pros, cons, facts and opinions are optional).

I used MS Paint for some 12 years before I finally found a spriting program that I didn't bounce off of. That program was Aseprite.

This is a farcical post anyway, MS Paint doesn't even have animation support. If price is a concern there are other free applications way better than Paint for spriting.
