frame rate

im really new to sprites and game designing as a whole. I was wondering if i set in the aseprite that i want one frame to take 300 ms and the others lets say to 100 would that not cross over onto a sprite sheet and i would have to just make that frame 3 frames instead of one? im using game maker 2 if that makes any difference. thanks!
