How do I resize my sprite while keeping it looking exactly the same
When I resize (even while holding shift) it always changes the way the sprite looks slightly. I want the scaling to do the same functionality that the zoom does if that makes sense.

If you use the Sprite > Sprite Size dialog, make sure your percentage is a multiple of 100 (200%, 300%, etc) and change the interpolation method to Nearest-neighbor. That should result in perfect scaling.

Though if you want to scale it just to post it somewhere, it's better to not scale the source image and do it during export. When you go to File > Export, there's a Resize option that will automatically scale up without distortion for the exported file, while leaving your working file unscaled.
