An Idea about layer groups.
It would be cool if we could make defined groups with components that may make up a sprite.
For instance I like making tanks and guns.
All of the moving components are split up to allow me to quickly annimate them. problem I have is when moving say, a tank, I have to move every individual part to the correct postion. This is really tedious. If it were part of a defined group, I could just select the move tool and move the whole group under the condition I left it last.

Thoughts?

It is a bit strange to not have the ability to move multiple layers at the same time. The Move Tool should have a way to select and move pixels across multiple layers at once.

Well I figured out you can left click drag select the layers you want to move together.
However this requires them to be next to each other.

So it would seem. That's the behavior I expected when I tried shift-clicking with no avail. Well, if that feature is already added, then perhaps what should be considered is simply modifying it to imitate most other programs using shift-click and ctrl-click. That is very much how other painting programs handle multi layer selection (photoshop, gimp, krita... apb:reloaded in game graphic editor....) so it's a pretty common trope and expectation. Dunno if the devs ever check these forums though. You might need to send an email or ticket requesting the feature, but I support this feature request if you do.

Well, good news, you can opt into beta and than you will be able to select multiple layers with ctrl. However you can't do the same with frames.

Maybe it's on a roadmap already then - that could be good news.
