Spoiler - Stuck in the boiler room

I've been wandering around for ages now.. it's right after you hit the first Red team and they release the gas.. there is nothing for me to interact with.. the grills on the floor just lead to other openings in the floor.. there are 2 doors.. the one I came in and another one that isn't interactable. Literally wandering around in here for 10 minutes now and probably out of filters.. any suggestions?

I'm playing on Xbox and I have the same problem. The only things I was able to Interact with was a one of those boxes with switches to take out the lights and then there was a switch I pulled in a room on the second floor (which didn't appear to do anything). There was a door in a short tunnel that would not open. So far, this game seems to have a knack for getting you lost, poor game design if you ask me, I hate wondering around trying to progress. *Sigh* still haven't figured this s*** out :p

Oh, crap. Lol, I just figured this out (my last post was literally 2 mins ago...). If you need help still, you need to throw a switch in that room on the second floor. Follow the wired coming out of that switch and you will be lead to this big propeller looking thing. You jump inside of that. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem at first but figured it out.

Going through the fan was a bit tricky at first, couldn't figure out where to go. But then I pulled out my compass and it led me right to it.

Wish the compass was 3-D.. woudl have saved me some palm-forehead moments where I'm trying to interact with something (in ranger mode) and realize I need to be on the staircase above me, lol.

Thanks Jim. I thought I had approached the big venting fan to use as an exit option, but nothing happened. Sure enough, when I went back it *was* the exit. Thanks for saving me some frustration.

Another one who got stuck, only got in to it recently. Getting through the fan was not the most obvious. Shame there is no manual save option or a way to go back to a previous save
