[BUG + FIX] Game coudn't start
Hey, to anyone else who might stumble upon this issue, my game just one day refused to start. I mean it starts, but there's no game, there's only music and I could hear the buttons as I hovered over them with my mouse, but I just saw my desktop.

Anyway fix is to force it to run on integrated graphics ( instead of NVIDIA ) in System -> Display -> Graphics and select Golf with your friends, and select something else than NVIDIA graphics.

Hi EU9e4DcTT77B5eMcKah7,

We're sorry to hear you experienced this issue with launching the game.

We would always recommend to run games via a dedicated GPU where possible, and not the integrated as this is usually (in most cases) less powerful than the dedicated (AMD/Nvidia) GPU's available.

If you're experiencing an issue running the title on your Nvidia GPU, we would be happy to try to help with this!
To do so, please could you send us your DxDiag information via the steps below:
  1. Hold down the Windows Key and press R
  2. The Run dialog should appear. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Save All Information
  5. Set the Save as type to Text File (*.txt)
  6. Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find.
  7. Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as https://justpaste.it/ or http://pastebin.com/
  8. Copy the link to your post and paste in your reply
Once we have this information, we will do our best to further assist you in resolving this matter.

Regards,
Team17 Support
Hey, there you go https://pastebin.com/kGHfvbMT

But I do not need help. I am perfectly fine with running it on integrated graphics. I may go radio silent at any time if life gets in the way because I do not need this fixed.
The reason I made this post was to help anyone else experiencing the same issue, not necessarily to fix it properly. (via NVIDIA)

Hey EU9e4DcTT77B5eMcKah7,

Thanks for sharing that with us.

If you're happy running the title are you are currently that is fine!
We don't see any issues in your dxdiag and your Nvidia GPU is up to date so that shouldn't cause an issue at all.

If you do require further support in the future please don't hesitate to get back in touch with us!

Regards,
Team17 Support
