Can you try to press Alt+Enter and see if that flicks you between Fullscreen and see if that allows you to then change the resolution?
Regards,
Team17 Support
e.g. "-popupwindow -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080"
Thanks for trying that.
We would also recommend the solution suggested by herbstwerk. Please try this and get back to us if this helps or not.
Please also check what your display resolution is set to by right-clicking your desktop and choosing Display settings and make sure the display resolution is set correctly.
Then also please check that your scale and layout are 100% or 125% - you can try either.
Get back to us when you can.

Thank you for the responses, herbstwerk's method initially worked, as the game booted in fullscreen normally, but as soon as i made it to the main menu the game snapped back to super horizontal stretch.
My screen options were all correct, so no changes there unfortunately.
Another option:
- Leave the -screen-width/height parameters in if your display supports that resolution, else lower it accordingly.
- Now go into X:\Users\UserName\AppData\LocalLow\Team17 Digital Ltd\Golf With Your Friends and open gwyf.sav in a text editor.
- In there look for "full_screen":1, - change that 1 to a 0, save and start the game.
- It should start in full screen at the resolution set in the launch parameters, then switch to windowed mode after reaching the main menu (Don't ask me why... not a Unity Dev ;)) and hopefully work.
- If so... you could try switching back into full screen via the options menu.
Good luck... never came across a similar problem.
I followed your tutorial and it has worked!!
Thank you very much for your patience and help!
