Out Of Time Penalty Is 10 Instead Of 2

Both scenarios were set up in offline mode, one was a one player, second was with two players. In the game setup the out of time penalty was set to max of 2. Anytime a player ran out of time, they had 10 strokes added as a penalty instead of two.

Please let me know if I'm missing something (new to the game so entirely possible) or if this is indeed a bug.

I have taken 6 screenshots for your review. There is a game setup, a game settings, and 4 holes of results after timeout.

After going through this, I realized that my initial assessment of the exact issue was not accurate. Instead, it appears that no matter how many strokes I make, the timeout penalty always takes me up to 14. The number of strokes I took for each hole are as follows:

Hole 1 - 1
Hole 2 - 0
Hole 3 - 4
Hole 4 - 6

As you can see in the screenshots, it always gave me a total of 14 with the time out penalty.

Please let me know if you need any further information, and thank you very much for looking into this. I do want to like this game, but this makes it somewhat useless to play with my family, which is why I bought it.

After taking a closer look at the settings, I think what is happening is that it is adding the max shots with the max penalty. I will test this and get more screenshots.

I did this following test and it does seem to be just adding the maximum number of strokes to the max out of time penalty. I added three more screenshots to the folder, starting with "Test 2".

As you will see, I changed the max strokes per hole to 7, which resulted in a total of 9 for each of the two holes. The number of actual strokes does not seem to matter, but the number I took on each hole, this time, are as follows:

Hole 1 - 4
Hole 2 - 0

I hope this helps narrow down where the issue may be, but please let me know if you would like more tests/data.

It’s now 2022 and this isn’t fixed. It happens to me and my kids every, single, time we run out of time on everything, since hole or course. It’s infuriating and disheartening for the kids to be in the lead and then fall way behind because they were a few second short. Makes us really dislike the game.
