Ball Reset Even Though Never Out of Bounds

I'm having trouble with my ball getting reset even when I stay on the green the entire time and finish on the green. I enabled the bounds reset that supposedly enables you to go out of bounds then finish in bounds without resetting your ball. Is this option bugged? I'm getting reset even when I never come close to leaving the green. The Ancients and the Space course are the two I've had the most trouble with, Ancients being especially bad to the point I couldn't complete some holes (17th, 18th, and the one with the water jets).

My friend and I are also having reset issues on many maps. We just tried Dust II and got reset a ton on the first hole.

Candyland has a few holes that do this too. I think hole 16 in particular.

Yes, we have tried with the setting both ways... But yes, we have the setting enabled and our desire (and how it reads) is that the ball can go out of bounds and as long as it end up in bounds when it stops, it won't reset you. If you end out of bounds it should reset you.

For the Candyland map, it only happened when I ended up (if you face the hole), way off to the left (water carried me to that far left grass area)... and my shots were also super far left going out of bounds and then I would jump back on the course and it would still reset me. Finally from the same spot, I aimed much more to the right, and didn't have a problem.

We are going to try to keep better track of exactly if/when we have any other issues and will certainly let you know. I appreciate your reply. We are having a lot of fun with the game.

So I was playing Online and was getting mixed results on Museum. I am loading a preset that I've made that has the out of bounds ENABLED. I ran the first 5 holes four or five times. I tried switching that setting back and forth. With it enabled, sometimes it would reset me when I exited (went out of bounds) the course and then ended up inside the course. The error wasn't consistent though. Something that would work one time, didn't work okay the next (with it ENABLED). I think even the second hole, I'd jump off to the left on my first shot, and bounce/jump out of bounds, then in bounds. Sometimes it would reset me, other times it would not. I believe DISABLED was working as expected.

More ball out of bounds reset when I played some more Candyland today, same settings in my same custom mode (see below), and I had issues on Hole 10 with an odd out of bounds reset, Hole 11, hit the ball from spawn way off to the right shooting the ball at almost a power of 4, off the ramp on the far right ... it went out of bounds, landed in bounds, and reset just before going into the hole. Hole 16 I shot from the spawn, got in the water, tried several jumps and finally landed on one of the long "pathways over the water" (maybe the middle one... don't recall) and it rolled down near the hole and reset. I had Out of Bounds = Enabled. "Allows Play to leave then re-enter the course bounds without reset, does reset if ball ends out of bounds." My friends and I recently have also had a couple of issues where the ball never even left the bounds of the course and was reset.

Hole 15, Volcano same issue. Second shot at 4 bouncing off the right bumper (I realize this may not make perfect sense) and goes up the ramps, then runs up and along the big wall and almost gets to the top and resets. When I re-positioned much closer to the big wall, hit it at a 3, it took a different path and didn't reset. Resets on that map felt very fast.

On a slightly different note, it would be great to have a key that would let you reset while you are out of bounds (and know you are staying there) without penalty.

Hole 9 as well. Hit it from spawn at about a 2.8 power straight ahead (may have jumped)... it went down the rocks, bounced back into the course and was about to stop just before you fall off to the lowest area. It reset just before it stopped. Here again it almost feels like it is making it's mind up too soon as to whether the ball ended up in bounds or not. Most all resets when firmly out of bounds are quick too.

And hole 17, from spawn, 3 3/4 power after the big square passes the spawn location, mostly straight aim... landed in bounds was about to stop (near where the big arrows point left... and it reset. In theory I wasn't really ever out of bounds.
