Game Crashing. Disable Steam Overlay
Temp workaround:

If you are suffering from random game and steam crashes please disable steam overlay.

Right-click Golf With Friends in your steam library and select Properties.
Uncheck "Enable steam overlay"

Please post below if this does or does not work for you.
We are working hard to fix anything major.
Thank you.

Hey guys, Try running the game with DirectX 9 and allowing it through your firewall and antivirus.
Maybe try disabling your antivirus and see if that helps.

And if I am using Mac with the latest OS? The game will go to the unity input/quality settings box, but after pressing the play button the game gets stuck for a few minutes until it crashes.

What are your specs? Try launching with windowed mode and then go fullscreen once ingame.
Ill look into this.

Maybe it's a Windows Update that intervened your game. All I know is this isn't an in-game issue

Hi |$m0k!n|-Lasse Kroner-,

Have you installed the last update?
Which operating system are you playing the game on?

Hey,

the game is crashing on me since 2 weeks. I allready completely turned off Anti-Virus, switched from full-screen to windowed. Unfortunately nothing helps.

If you want I can send you the error.log of the "Crash-Testing Beta".
After testing it with "Crash-Testing Beta" and switching back to standard, it does not even start...

Game is on latest Version.
Playing on Windows 10.

Here the error log from before when I've tested Beta (error.log):

Somewhy Discord crashes also, if I run it parallel to GWYF. But GWYF does crash even if I quit Discord.
