Option to turn Timer off + shot limit off.

I'd like this for when I'm just solo hosting... Incase I have to go AFK during my course practice or need to reset the ball way too many times to get the hole in one strategy understood. (That target bounce one in forest for example!) Or if I'd play with just friends. I'd probably get them to do training matches with me and have us take turns doing the holes, so I can watch them and tell them what they seem to be doing wrong without Skype screen share. Also would like, if possible, a hole selection sort of mode. I understand if that isn't possible, but if there's a hole I'd like to just redo over and over till I get consistent hole in ones, that'd be useful to save me time. So I don't have to loop back to it just because I nailed my hole in one.

Sorry if this seems weird to ask for, but it's a habit of mine to practice a LOT as someone who speedruns games a lot. I just get annoyed by myself sometimes if I can't find out the spot to aim for to get my hole in ones. Don't mind redoing the course for the power since it's easy to adjust next playthrough, but when it's the angle? That's just annoying to me personally if I cannot get atleast that consistent.

Overall, I'd be pleased with just timer off if I had to pick just one thing.

We are looking at adding an option to remove the timer and stroke limit into the custom game options, hopefully it wont be too long.

I was playing the game yesterday and noticed there was still no option to turn the timer off. Will this still be implemented? It makes the game frustrating at times.

Are you sure about that? If you go into settings in the lobby you can set max strokes and time to ∞ by dragging those sliders all the way to the right. This has been possible for years iirc.

Oh thanks, it could have been because I was in a match. I'll check that out next I'm playing it.

That would explain it. You can't change those things while in a match, just like e.g. jumping this needs to be set by the host while in the lobby / before you start the round.
