Network Error after network error...
I have been having a hard time joining any game. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, changing server regions, and verifying my game files. I have no issue with my internet connection or modem. I made a report with Team 17 a few days ago as well. Is anyone else having similar issues? If so, any fix?

Hey all,

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with network errors in Golf With Your Friends!

Could you please check for pending updates for your system via the steps below:
  1. Select the Start button
  2. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
  3. Select Check for updates
  4. After installing the update, select Check online for updates from Microsoft Update
Then try the following:
  1. Uninstall the game
  2. Press the Windows button, type %AppData% and press Enter
  3. Delete all folders referencing "Golf With Your Friends" and "Blacklight Interactive"
  4. Reinstall the game and retest

Could you also please allow ads.t17service.com in any firewall/AV you have installed?

It would also be worth disabling the Caddy Pack DLC and retesting the game.

Other players have reported that disabling their ad blockers also fixed this issue.

If the issue still persists, please get back to us when you can and we can investigate this further.

Regards,
Team17 Support

I have tried everything on this list multiple times. I've disabled the ad blocker, have both ads.t17service.com and golf with your friends whitelisted on my firewall, have uninstalled and reinstalled after deleting the app data folder at least 10 times, and have fully updated my OS. is there anything else I just want to play the game and I can't even try to connect online for a game without only getting Network Errors

I have tested this with every server to no avail. I have no problems with any other game on Steam, and although I don't own any other Team 17 games with multiplayer on Steam, trying one on Epic does not have any issues connecting, unlike golf

Hey ricken9003,

Thanks for getting back to us!

First, I would recommend contacting your ISP to find out what your NAT is set to as this could be the problem.

Would it be possible for you to connect your computer to a different WiFi or a mobile hotspot, just to check if this issue still occurs?

It would also be helpful if you could test if this still occurs when you connect to your WiFi router using an Ethernet cable if possible.

Get back to us when you can and let us know how you get on!

I'm having the same issue but it happened right after purchasing the dlc for olypmus. never had a network issue before. cleared cache, uninstall reinstalled, checked integrity of the games files and nothing.

Also having Network connection issues. I suspect their servers are down or having issues. :(
