Looking for Twilight course mushrooms in Level Editor
Hi guys. I've been working on building a course with my mom and we took a break today to play. While playing the Twilight course we noticed these pink and blue mushrooms all over the place. Since we'd been in the level editor for a while, I had forgotten about them, so after we finished I went back into the level editor to try to find the mushrooms. I don't have a tab for the twilight course at all, and I looked under every other course but I can't find either of those mushrooms. Where am I missing them? I have every course but the new Olympus but that shouldn't matter because this was part of the original game.

Thank you for any help!

There is no "Twilight" specific theme available in the level editor. The only mushroom piece I'm aware of is in the Scenery section of Forest. The problem you mentioned is common throughout the level editor- not all the assets used by the developers for official maps are included in the menus for Workshop maps.

They've likely built the official maps in the Unity editor with standard Unity prefabs. It takes extra work to expose them to the ingame editor, or they don't want to for some other reason than it taking work.

We e.g. don't have much control over the lighting either meaning we can't replicate Twilight even in that aspect.

If I remember this correctly from the BLI weekly dev streams it's because they baked the lighting/shadows for the official maps back then while the editor doesn't. They didn't have the resources to do much about it. But that was 4+ years and with a 3 men dev team.

T17 probably have more than enough resources and manpower to do something about that if they wanted... but they don't care.

Gotcha! Thank you so much, I was starting to think I was going insane because I thought I'd seen the Twilight section when I'd first started doing level editor things.

Ahhh, yeah, that makes sense. Thanks for telling me.

It's always amazing to me how things progress from a 3 man team to something bigger and what gets worked on and what doesn't. Thanks for letting me know! It helps!
