Golf With Your Friends crashes my pc
I have only been able to play one full game with my friends because every other time my pc shuts off after about 5 min into a game. This is the only game in my entire library that does this and I know it's not some other application running in the background that causes it because I have tested that and it still shuts my pc off. I'd really like to be able to play because it's good casual fun but I genuinely don't know what could be causing this and I'm out of ideas. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated :)

When it comes to one's PC shutting down, it's frequently some temperature related issue. While GWYF might not look like it, it can actually strain your video card significantly. I speculate it's to its crude rendering routines (although it uses the Unity engine it most likely have to draw most or all objects within draw distance at full detail).

Not saying it's that, but please rule out overheating first. Sometimes it's enough to look in the Windows task manager for temperature values.

I'm having the same issue too and would love to find a resolution! Racer since you posted this, have you found a solution?

This might've been the issue, since posting this I upgraded my cooling system and it works fine now so I'm inclined to say you were correct. Thanks!
