Please make the game turn based like every golf game ever!

[Little Foot the Brontosaurus]

it would make the multiplayer experience much more fun if you were taking turns watching your friends go for it. every good golf game in the past has used this format and it's done for a reason. the potential to see your friends hit crazy shots/hole in ones is a huge part of what makes a game like this exciting. the multiplayer experience in its current format feels too isolated.

for 12 player lobbies with randoms this sounds like torture, but for people who play with their friends, the turn based format has so much potential.

Thanks for the suggestion, we will be adding this feature in the future.
We have chosen the current mechanic because it allows for quick fun games.

A lot of people love the way it currently is, but we have seen a few who would like the taking turns option. Stay tuned.

I think this would be a bad idea for online games. They would be a lot less fast paced and fun. If they do this, I hope it's a game mode and not enforced.

In hot seat were it is turn-based it is annoying, that always the same player begins. It should be like in real golf, where the player who is furthest away plays or at least always another player starts.

This thread is four years old though and a turn-based mode with local hot seat is in the game. We'll close this down for now, other suggestions are probably best in new threads! :)
