Sorry for the delay.
Greatly apperciate your feedback on this topic as I am a fan of cross-platform multiplayer. Not only does it allow us to play with our friends across different platforms, but it also increases the player pool by a good margin!
The current update now has floaties and a 2018 halloween event that ends October 30th/31st which includes special event items made by the developers.
Edit 15 OCT 2018: Mossie125, I currently don't see a mouse icon on your name for this game's forums. I'm suspicious that you don't own this game or you got it refunded within Valve's refund policy 2-week/2-hour window.
That is correct I do not own this game yet, but my friends and I are looking for a fun game to play together, but one of us does not own a PC, so we are looking for cross platform games. Thus, I am asking if cross-platform is avaiable as of now.
If it is, then we will buy the game to enjoy it together.
As Wheel stated above, it's not quite in the works. Once the devs get the Steam version to full release, they'll need to work extra hard to possibly get console versions up including contacting Microsoft (Xbox), Sony (PSN), etc.
