Local Multiplayer - Nintendo Switch?

I've owned this game on PC on both my wife & my accounts for ages. Quit playing it forever ago due to no support for local multiplayer. It was a drag to get 2 computers out just to host a game for us to play together.. I noticed it was on Nintendo Switch and allegedly had local multiplayer. I thought that would be great... Just turn on the Switch, and play together on the couch rather than get 2 PC's goin... Sweet!


Well... No, not really...

To my surprise, the game doesn't appear to support multiple controllers... You have to pass a single controller around to each player... Like seriously? What is this 1980?

The game is called "Golf With Your Friends"... Why is it that golfing with your actual friends seems to be the least supported feature in this game?

A Solid local multiplayer set up should have been objective number one in a game called "Golf With Your Friends" Game isnt even in Early Access anymore, does that mean they're done with it? Are they seriously going to leave it without a decent local multiplayer mode?

This is just silly.
