How do you unlock Items in this game?

Been playing awhile now and i havent been able to unlock anything

There should be a drop every around 45 minutes you play or after completing a course, with up to 3 drops per day.

I seem to be getting them at 30 minutes. 3 drops a day - 1st drop at 30 minutes, 2nd and 3rd drops after finishing games.

awe really because i hosted a game for me and my brother, we played the forest (classic and Hockey) and than we played haunted and than one last round in WORMS and we got nothing D: maybe it was because i had it on friends only?

I play friends only with my mate all the time, we both still get items. Are you playing the games fully after 30-45 minutes?

Might be worth dropping a message into 'Report a Problem' if you think it is a bug, but it should be just simply play time or finishing courses up to 3 times a day. :)

Do items unlock if you play offline? Because I haven't unlocked anything.

Yeah they always unlocked in offline games, you however must be online and logged into your steam account of course, because of the exchange of info between game and items server.

There dropping fine here, have been since it came out of Early Access, its the exact same format as it always was.

Hope now the games out of EA you'll go back to turning on event drops like the devs used to lay on prior to Team 17 ie halloween, easter, valentines, xmas and add in a few yourself.

Over 2 years later and I and all 10+ of my friends are still not getting drops. SORT IT OUT!

Nice necro and curb your hyperbole. The problem was fixed back then, it worked for 1½ or so years, but the last update broke it again. Now it being broken since the last update 6-ish month ago certainly isn't great, but a lot has changed since then. Like Team17 buying the game IP outright, so the original devs aren't involved anymore, and it seems like they either don't believe in small updates that fix stuff they've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, or they can't find the problem. Who knows.

No exaggeration here my friend, there are 33 of us that play together to be exact, and it's been at least 2 years since this issue was originally brought up. A minority of our group already prefer Golf It vs Golf With Your Friends (including myself), so I am hoping we all move over to playing that soon instead anyways. At least we know the item drops work correctly there :D
