Not Downloading

Just bought the game, It starts to download at 5Mb/s then stops and goes into a crawl 2 hours for 600mb. Other games download fine - What's the story with this one? Seems to get stuck after the first 50-100mb

Not sure, you didnt opt into any beta versions of the game?
Maybe try restart steam or change your download region.
Also check your internet speed and make sure its not your network.

A lot of my games have been doing that lately. Has it just stopped downloading completely? You could try deleting your downloading folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading) to restart the process

Thanks for the replies, Done both of the suggestions before you posted. No Beta Versions. Still the same - Maybe a Steam issue with with download server for the game? - Like i say other games are fine and getting a steady 5-6MB/s speeds - I get the odd 300k burst as can be seen in the image below. It has been like that for an hour.

EDIT - Manually deleted /Downloading folder and restarted with the same problem.
Starts at 5MB/s then stops and get the odd blip of a few hundred kb occasionally.
Strange one but i will try again tomorrow if there are no known faults/issues.

Very weird. Try downloading a different game and see if it still does this.
Not sure why it would do this, might have to contact Steam support.
It might have downloaded by the time they get back to you though.

Haha, definately. I have managed to download 2 other 3GB games with no problem.

Ok so I'm not the only one that's been getting this. I thought this was my pc because I just upgraded the cpu due to my 970 being bottlenecked by a amd a8 cpu. Anyways I'm noticing this too just download speed dropping from 4.5mbs to 0kbs

Seems that way, Cmax in the comments above says the same. I have sent a support ticket into Steam with a link to this thread. Maybe they can sort it out or have an have and idea what is going on. I have left the download running for another 2 hours now and got 110mb down. Time for bed now lol.

Just tried again with the same result. Guess it's up to Steam to fix and fast.
This could cost sales of the game.

Managed to get 350mb down this time. Then it stuck again.
Hitting pause and restarting seems to get it going - but only for a few seconds until it drops to zero again.

Also someone has started a new thread with the same problem.

The game looks great, hopefully i will play it soon - Keep up the good work.

Good news - The game seems to download now at normal speeds for me - Weird fault but happy i can play the game now. No reply from Steam at all but at least they are aware.

If this happens again,try changing the server location in settings on Steam.

Guys it doesnt download for me either. It just stops :( I just wanted to play with my friend :( It says connection time out
