its really probably my favorite gun from the game, especially with a bayonet =D
that said, yes there is a known bug where attempting to inspect your watch while the shotgun is in your hand, it becomes blurred and illegible
I have that same problem too. When I use that semi-auto shotgun, the watch looks blurry. I thought there was just something wrong with my game, but I guess it's a common glitch, huh? Bummer.
I guess it is a handicap to compensate for the firepower? Or maybe just a secret to figure out?
The revolver shotgun aka uboinik (I think now called the shambler?), when completely emptied, could only be loaded to 5 shells because based on the mechanics of the gun, you can't physically insert a shell into the lower 6th chamber, so you had to fire a round to cycle a shell into that slot, soooo realism. Not a bug, many of the guns were designed by someone (honestly can't remember the name, a mechnical engineer) to be actually used in real life. All the guns are designed to be plausible.
They allowed players to insert the 6th shell in Redux because why not, its a video game, and some people, like you, just didn't understand why they could only reload 5 shells into a 6 chamber gun.
But now that you mention it, I am not entirely sure that I had not fired a shot before the last reload. I was a bit "busy" at the time. 8-)
